Stories & Memories 1

From the moment I touched polymer clay it was though God called me to clay. It was in 1986 and I had 3 small children at just 26. Now 26 seems like a baby! Over the years (and have 3 more), the clay became my outlet, a blessing, a source of providence only supplied by the hand of God.

There are many stories to be told through the years, but what I have found is not that I have brought the joy, but the clay has told the story. You see God alone worked through my humble and tired hands. He alone gave them the creativity, strength and endurance to create thousands of pieces over 30 plus years.

In this latter season of my life, He inspired me by bringing fresh and renewed creativity. In so, was the gift of our daughter Virginia. Anointed, creative and extremely gifted, her knowledge as graphic designer has taken these lumps of clay to the next level. A level of creativity I never dreamed of with Bert's Clay.

The last thing I have time for is a blog, but there are too many stories out there and blessings to be shared. Postings will be few and far between, but the true goal is to not magnify myself, but bring glory to God  and bring joy in some small way to "call to clay!"

Hugs, Bert!

Isaiah 64:8 Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.
