Roberta "Bert" - Mother and Sculpture Artist

Bert's Clay Creations is a handcrafted polymer clay art business founded & operated by Roberta "Bert" Prostor, based in Phoenix, AZ. Bert specializes in creating personalized figurines, ornaments, pet sculptures, badge reel toppers, and cake toppers, all meticulously hand-sculpted from polymer clay. Her work is known for its whimsical and heartfelt designs, often commemorating life milestones such as graduations, weddings, anniversaries, new homes, and holidays.

Bert has been sculpting for over 40 years, relying on her imagination and life experiences - particularly as a mother of six - for inspiration! She is a licensed artist with Scouting America (formerly BSA). Her creations often incorporate custom graphics and fonts to enhance personalization thanks to her daughter Virginia, her graphic designer.

"It all began when my mom (Roberta) hit peak ornament overload and recruited me as her unsuspecting sidekick. [Cue reluctant teenager energy.] That first season, I was in charge of packaging, shipping, and tackling the odd tasks no one else wanted. Flash forward: each year, my role snowballed like a snowman rolling downhill. By high school, I was knee-deep in graphic design and throwing out ideas for ornaments featuring these nifty graphics. Little did I know back then, my suggestions would morph into a major part of our ornament collections! Thanks for letting us sprinkle a bit of our creativity into your holidays—we hope every piece feels as personal as it’s meant to!"
